Gold, forever.

Gone are those days.

Taking my first step in RV was a daring move. Unsure about the competitiveness here, unaware of the tough times coming head-on. Truth be told, I would love to have just stayed in Nan Hua Table Tennis team and go with the flow of taking O levels etc. etc. nothing special. But the decision to be part of RV have left me baffled sometimes, while taking my breath away other times. It all started off with this:

2E'09 with Ms Lee!

These two chummies (below) have been a great part of the virgin years of my RV life:

Clint, Jiang (& me)

Oh and the craziest nonsensical things we (not really we actually, just Jiang) blabber on Facebook:

Jiang's Weird comment

I’ll have to admit there are weird and tricky situations through my junior high years, but, I guess all is well in the end! It was a great 2 years spent with 1E’09!

Amidst all the crazy, but most of the time boring, lessons after lessons, there is always CCA days on (was it?) Tuesdays and Fridays that will ALWAYS be my motivation! It’s quite ingenious of the PE dept to slot in CCA days at the start and the end of the week just to keep us alive. Wasn’t as close a team as present, hence the lack of photos; so i’ll post a picture we took just today (believe it or not) when we went back Malan Campus:

2008 Table Tennis C div

heh, on the side-note, Mr Tan said that we didn’t grow much since the first day he knew us. Yes Mr Tan, I’ll take that as a compliment. Oh and here’s the C division boys team:

2008 Exparia Boys

Old grannies always recollect “以前的警察穿短裤”, well, quite applicable here eh? Oh and if you would like to think that’s our senior in the long pants 🙂 though mental age about 18 as of now~

And finally, here’s a picture with Ching! Like this picture velly much because we’re like FINALLY  WEARING ONION RINGS??!?!! what the fellbitch please.

(had to relive momentarily my bitchy moments) Oh she has been a loyal servant, as Maria, to the royal Expariatupatinga family. Oh wait, she’s part of it. I guess we enslaved one of our own. BUT OH WELL, reality’s cruel yea, ching? Anyway, she’s been a great fwenn to be with regardless of in “Despo Chiongsters” (our study group) or as a vice-captain for RVTT! I can’t ask for a better study buddy yo~ (not to forget Rachel who decides to have dinner with me today yay 🙂 and Clinton!)

Captains

Speaking about reality, it has already been 5.5 years and it’s time to leave. Leave RV. To be honest, I feel bitter sweet. Having bagged all these memories and great company through these 6 years was truly a sweet experience. Even to love someone whom never loved back was exciting. Altogether, I will (forever) miss these beautiful memories I share with all of the people that I treasure closer to heart than my lungs, and deeper than whichever brain pacemaker can ever reach in my mind. I would love to end off with this gold that I’ll always treasure as part of my precious junior high years: It was a sunny day at Jurong Hills when we started on our Geography project (and check out how much Clinty grew, from a puny dark-bean-sprout-seed-coat-like boy to a ?!?! ____ idk. Refer to figure 1 for clearer illustration.)

Clinton da bean sprout????

Figure 1: clintydabeansprout (way above E now).

And here’s the prized picture:

2009 Geog Project!

I know I’ll never get a chance to relieve these splendid moments with Exparia and the few chummies, I’ll just have to live with this sentimentality for the past, but still,

Gold were these days.
